Lighting & Troubleshooting

Why does the pilot go out when I release the control knob?

The pilot needs time to warm up before it will stay lit on its own. Once the pilot flame is lit, keep the control knob pressed in for at least 30 seconds before releasing it. Releasing the knob too soon can cause the pilot to go out.

If the pilot still won’t stay lit, follow the lighting and troubleshooting instructions in your fire table’s manual before trying again.
